Oliver Béres was born in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary, and he began his dance training at age 11 when he was accepted at the Hungarian Dance Academy. During several summers he danced with North Carolina Dance Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina and with a company in Austria.  When he graduated from school in 2005 Mr. Béres danced with the Slovak State Opera House and Columbia Classical Ballet.  He has been a guest performer with several companies throughout Europe, and in May 2008 he danced with Carolina Ballet in the premiere production of Sleeping Beauty.
