From Sydney, Australia Rank Company Joined Carolina Ballet 2009 Elice began her training at the age of 9 at Ithaca Ballet. At 14, she continued, for three years, at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. From there she moved on to the Miami City Ballet School on full merit scholarship, where she performed with the professional company in Nutcracker, Coppelia, and Ballet Imperial. She joined Miami City Ballet in 2005 and danced with the company for four years performing many Balanchine ballets including Symphony in 3 movements,Western Symphony, Symphony in C, Serenade and La Valse. She also performed ''Little Red Riding Hood" in Sleeping Beauty and was in the original cast of Twyla Tharp's "Nightspot.'' Summer intensives Elice has participated in include Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chatagua, Miami City Ballet school, American Ballet Theatre, and acceptance to the School of American Ballet. |
