Born Colorado Springs, Colorado Rank Company Joined Carolina Ballet 2006 Rachel Sherak grew up in Colorado Springs before moving to Alpharetta, Georgia. She began her study of dance at age 10 at the North Atlanta Dance Academy and then went to the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City where she spent her four years of high school. At SAB, Ms. Sherak performed in New York City Ballet's production of Coppelia and Susan Stormamn's Double Feature. She also performed the principal couple in a ballet by James Sewall in the 2006 New York City Ballet Choreographic Institute program. |
