This two-act world premiere delves into the man who came
before the legend. Once a loyal servant of the church, he
leaves his new bride to fight in its name. When false news
of his death reaches home, her longing of reunification comes
at the cost of her life. Returning home only to find his beloved
gone, he renounces his faith.

At this crossroad of ruin, Dracula is born.

In search of newfound devotion, this world premiere blends
gothic with a deeply human depiction of adoration, piety, and
deception. Dracula will feature both the power and nuance
of our full company alongside a novel score.
