About
McKenzie Van Oss grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and started dancing at 3 years old at the Green Bay School of Dance. She then went to Walnut Hill School for the Arts for her junior and senior year before attending the Carolina Ballet Summer Intensive. Van Oss has been dancing with the company ever since performing roles such as the Principal Couple in Balanchine’s Rubies, the pas de deux in Lynne Taylor-Corbett’s The Great Galloping Gottshalk, and the 3rd Speech in Robert Weiss’ Symposium. Van Oss was promoted to Soloist at the end of the 2020-2021 season.
