Dance Integration Residencies
Carolina Ballet’s teaching artists can come to your school to lead an arts integration residency that connects creative movement with the core academic curriculum. The teaching artist works with classroom teachers to determine a curricular theme for the residency and plan an exciting week. Lessons during the residency explore the theme through movement-based activities. Students have an opportunity to learn, create, and express themselves through movement. We can design residencies around a variety of topics for students in Grades K-5.
Wake County Schools: Dance Integration Residencies are included in United Arts’ Artists in the Schools Directory, and United Arts grants can be used for this program.
Expose your dance students to Carolina Ballet’s world-class ballet through a master class with one of our Company dancers. We can design a week-long master class in ballet technique and performance for students at any level.
